How would you introduce yourself to someone who's just discovering LOVELUVV™?
I recently discovered the art of oríkì, and while I use it as my signature power phrase, it couldn’t be more accurate.

What inspired you to create LOVELUVV™ Sparkling Wines?
LOVELUVV™ was born from my background as a wedding planner, where I witnessed firsthand how the right sparkling wine could elevate life’s celebrations. After becoming a Master of Champagne in 2021, I wanted to create more than just another luxury brand—I envisioned a company that truly embodied celebration, love, and purpose. Our brand honors the journey, rituals, and joys of love stories while making a meaningful impact.
What inspired you to build a brand with social impact at its heart?
We can all aspire to the example of love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8:
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
Simply put… Love shouldn’t hurt.
This brand will leverage the elegance and sophistication of champagne to financially support 1,000,000,000 mothers and children who have experienced domestic violence. We will partner with like-minded organizations to amplify our impact and drive positive change towards domestic peace. After all, everyone deserves a champagne life!
What are you most proud of to date?
In May 2023, I made history as the first African American female in Illinois to own a champagne brand. Then in February 2025, I raised the bar even higher by launching a premium prosecco — making LOVELUVV™ the only brand serving both top-tier champagne and prosecco under one sparkling wine label. First to do it and doing it my way. This is just the beginning.
What might surprise people about you?
Despite being in the champagne business, I’m not as bourgeois as most folks may think. I describe myself as ‘front porch fancy’ and my dream car is a matte black Harley Davidson Edition F-250 4×4 Crew Cab pickup truck with “Champagne Mami” written on the side!
What wisdom would you share with other entrepreneurs?
“Let ’em.” These are the words I repeat to myself whenever I fall into the trap of thinking I must do everything alone. When people offer help, accept it graciously. That said, ensure they understand your vision and goals—support is most valuable when aligned with your direction. Be open to assistance while staying true to what you’re building.
Do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
I have two that guide me daily. The first is “Excellence Is The Floor,” which reminds me that in a world where mediocrity often becomes the standard, we must set our baseline higher and then strive to surpass even that.
My second comes from Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose.” This reminds me that even during the challenging periods—and there have been many with this brand—everything will ultimately work out as it should.
